This special Restorative Yoga & Sound Healing Class will be lead by Kimberly Shay and Carina Terra. Carina will open class with a grounding Mantra invocation, Kimberly will guide you through a lovely Restorative practice ending with Yoga Nidra during an extended savasana followed by otherworldly vibrations from her Moldavite Alchemy bowl and accompanied by Carina's beautiful voice for toning.

Kimberly Shay is an initiated breath work guide and E-RYT 500. She enjoys encouraging students to connect with their body and breath in a new and intentional way incorporating visualization and spirituality into her dialogue as well as a keen focus on safety, alignment and curiosity. She has a passion for blending many traditions and modalities into an experience that will challenge the physical body with thoughtful asana, quiet the mind with mindfulness based awareness practice, develop connection to the natural world, and open the heart. Kimberly's approach is down to earth and joyful - bringing brightness, confidence and peace. Her goal, as a teacher and guide, is to offer others an empowering experience that they can apply in all areas of their lives.

Carina Terra is a versatile teacher who has an interdisciplinary approach to teaching yoga. She is trained in many different styles of Hatha Yoga, including Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, and Self-Awakening Yoga. Carina is a Pranassage Practitioner certified by the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, and a Prenatal Yoga teacher certified by the Seattle Holistic Center. Carina owned and managed Terra Yoga in Issaquah from 2003 to 2013. She has since shifted her focus to training & mentoring other teachers, as well as sharing her passion for yoga with a more global community. In addition to her yoga expertise, Carina is also a Reiki Master and a Holographic Sound Practitioner. Carina’s passion for teaching is evident in her interdisciplinary classes. She creates a supportive, nurturing space that encourages students to practice being in the present moment with what is, cultivating a state of compassionate awareness toward self and others. Her classes are instructional, insightful, and suitable for people of all levels and abilities.
