A few things to note
1. Yoga is for EVERY BODY. Anyone can (and should) do it! Allow yourself to be a beginner, especially if you are. Listen to your body’s pain and pleasure cues, stop and rest when needed. Wear comfortable clothes.
2. You don't need to be flexible. Improving flexibility is one of the great benefits of yoga! Know that the more often you practice, the greater the benefits will be. Your instructor can help you make adjustments to find the pose expression that feels best in your body. On your mat (and in your life), YOU DO YOU!
3. We provide mats, blocks, straps and blankets at No charge. Once you come more regularly, we DO encourage you to invest in a yoga mat as a commitment to your practice. (Coming to your own mat each time feels better than a borrowed mat).
4. Bring a water bottle and a small towel with you if you get sweaty! We provide a filtered water cooler. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration and try to wait till after class to rehydrate.
5. ALWAYS check with your Doctor if you have questions regarding pregnancy, or other health issues. Our teachers can offer modifications but cannot diagnose or treat personal health issues.
Namaste and we hope to meet you soon!
