Kimi began her yoga journey in 2001 when a friend suggested she try a crazy new idea to reduce her chronic back pain: yoga. Not only did her daily practice relieve her pain, it helped her understand her body and its signals and brought calm and peace into a hectic life.
In 2009, Kimi completed her 250 RYT training and has since taught over 2,500 hours of yoga and completed her 750 RYT and certifications in Aerial yoga and Myofascial Release (MFR).
Kimi has raised four human children and is currently the mom of three fur kiddos, as well. All are funny, bright, loving, and the best gifts in her life. In her down time, Kimi enjoys creating art through drawing, painting, and most of all, digital designs.
As a teacher, Kimi’s goal is to help her students find physical, mental, and emotional healing and balance through yoga and meditation. Her specialties include hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative, power, pre- and post-natal, aerial, kids yoga, kids aerial yoga, guided meditation, and myofascial release.
Kimi believes we are all students on a constantly evolving path to become our best selves and strives to grow with her community (yoga family) whenever possible.
