Dawn has been working in the Yoga and fitness space since 2011, building community around movement wherever she goes. She loves that her career has allowed her to meet incredible people, while sharing her knowledge and devotion to the practice of yoga and movement.
As the owner of Yoga Sanctuary she aims to create a space for connection. Connection with community and connection with self. She believes strongly in the power of relationships, light hearted fun, movement and breathe. She hopes everyone who attends a class at the Yoga Sanctuary feels they are at home in the studio. A place to unwind, make friends, breathe, move and take time out for self reflection and self love.
Dawn has a clear and upfront style of teaching. You can expect her classes to be challenging, yet easy to follow. She loves teaching her students how to make their body work in the best way for them, with a strong focus on alignment, offering lots of options for modification. Be prepared to laugh as well, she has been known to through in a joke or two for a little extra core work!
