Ana Montero
I help overstimulated individuals find balance on the mat by bringing them into the present moment. I love reconnecting them to their body by incorporating breathwork, grounding meditations, chanting, and dynamic sequences. I encourage the individual to challenge the mind and discover their inner warrior. In my yoga class, you will build heat, release tension and leave with an overall feeling of calm, ease, and a new sense of empowerment. I offer variations to make postures accessible to all levels of practice.
Yoga is a deep dive inward, a radical self-inquiry. Yogi’s practice staying with whatever arises–discomfort, elation, boredom, anxiety. By overcoming these moments during asana, we can create new habits when it comes to our reaction to stressful moments off the mat. My passion is to share my enthusiasm for the magic of yoga by teaching students that one simple movement can open a door to a bigger state of mind, health, and happiness. I help people find their way through the ups and downs of life with yoga.
